Travel Consultant: Azerbaijan Expertise & Documentation Specialist
Azerbaijan’s e-visa system, known as ASAN Visa, has shifted the landscape for international travel, yet travelers still face significant hurdles with complex documentation. As a consultant in Toronto, you’ll navigate the nuances of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan. You aren't just filing forms; you're ensuring that business travelers, students, and tourists don't hit roadblocks at Heydar Aliyev International Airport. The core of this role involves mastering the specific requirements for various visa categories, including single-entry, multiple-entry, and the increasingly popular E-visa portals.
You’ll handle the technical aspects of the ASAN system. It’s not as straightforward as people think. Small errors in passport data or incorrectly uploaded photos lead to instant rejections, which delay travel schedules and ruin business deals. You will need to manage the following duties:
Manage the verification of invitation letters for business applicants.
Coordinate with local entities in Baku to ensure host legitimacy.
Track the shifting regulatory landscape regarding regional travel permits.
Serve as the bridge between student paperwork and embassy requirements for transit visas or long-term study permits.
We pay $65,000–$75,000 CAD per year. You get health and dental coverage, plus a stipend for your own skill growth. Remote work is part of our standard setup, so you can work from your home office while handling international time zones. You’ll spend your days performing the following tasks:
Verify documentation accuracy.
Liaise with immigration authorities.
Ensure that every client’s itinerary remains on track.
Monitor updates on Azerbaijan’s entry protocols, which often change based on geopolitical shifts or seasonal health mandates.
Inform clients about registration requirements for stays longer than 15 days.
Your success depends on your ability to explain complex legal details in simple terms. Clients are often overwhelmed by the bureaucracy of international transit. You’ll need to calm them down, get their documents sorted, and handle the pressure of tight deadlines. We need someone who understands that a missing document isn't just a clerical oversight—it’s a grounded flight. You’ll be the person they trust to handle high-stakes travel logistics.
